What is Switched LANs: Network Performance Lab about?

This lab simulates switched local area networks using either hubs or switches to connect networked devices. The student will create two scenarios - one using a single hub and one using both a hub and switch. Key statistics like traffic sent and received, end-to-end delay, and collisions will be measured and compared between the two scenarios to examine how network performance is affected by the type of switching device used.
