What is Overview of Lockheed F-94D Starfire about?

The Lockheed F-94D was a proposed single-seat fighter-bomber version of the F-94C Starfire that was cancelled before completion. Lockheed was contracted to modify 113 F-94Cs by removing the rear radar operator station and adding wing tanks and underwing pylons to carry bombs. Two F-94Bs were modified with the new nose to test the configuration, but the entire F-94D program was cancelled in 1951 so Lockheed could focus on the F-94C.
