What is Vestimenta y Cultura Tsáchila en Ecuador about?
Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas province was created in 2007 from territory previously belonging to Pichincha province. It is named after the indigenous Tsáchila people also known as Colorados. It has only two cantons, La Concordia and Santo Domingo, with Santo Domingo serving as the provincial capital. The province is located in northwestern Ecuador along the western Andes mountain range at an altitude of 625 meters above sea level, 120 km from the coast.
