What is Lo 2021 about?

This document presents a 28 GHz pattern reconfigurable antenna and array designed for 5G millimeter-wave mobile devices, utilizing a current cancelling mechanism and PIN diodes to switch between radiation patterns. The antenna array can steer the main beam in four directions with a broad angular coverage of 180° and gains ranging from 3.4 to 7.1 dBi. Prototypes were manufactured and tested, demonstrating good agreement between simulated and measured results.
