About this document

Solvent Dispersions of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes by abhivk1810 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the solubilization of pristine single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) using various organic solvents. Five solvents with high electron pair donicity and low hydrogen bond parameters were found to create stable dispersions, characterized by UV/visible-NIR spectra, ESR spectra, and atomic force microscopy. The findings suggest that Lewis basicity without hydrogen donors is crucial for effective solvation of SWCNTs, with NMP and DMF identified as the most promising solvents.
