What is Ultrafine PAN/EVOH Nanofiber Development about?

This document investigates the development of ultrafine nanofibers from a polyacrylonitrile/ethylene co-vinyl alcohol precursor using solution electrospinning. The effect of different ethylene co-vinyl alcohol content percentages incorporated with polyacrylonitrile on the fiber diameters was studied. Fiber diameters as low as 41-102 nm were achieved, and thermal properties of the blend nanofibers were enhanced compared to pure polyacrylonitrile.
