This study evaluates the in-vitro activity of novel β-lactam/β-lactamase inhibitor combinations and cefiderocol against 170 carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas spp. isolates collected in Switzerland in 2022. The results indicate that susceptibility rates for the new combinations vary, with cefiderocol showing high effectiveness against carbapenemase producers, while the new β-lactam/β-lactamase inhibitors are more effective against non-carbapenemase producers.
