The National Hurricane Center will implement several changes to its products and services for the 2014 hurricane season, including a new Potential Storm Surge Flooding Map, 5-day Tropical Weather Outlook graphics and forecasts, removal of the Intensity Probability Table, use of mixed case in outlooks and discussions, and a slightly smaller tropical cyclone forecast cone. Social media presence on Facebook and Twitter will also be enhanced to provide additional storm updates.
