What is Yadavas of Devagiri: A Historical Overview about?

The Yadavas of Devagiri ruled parts of central India from the 12th to 14th centuries. They were initially feudatories of the Western Chalukyas but later declared independence under Bhillama. The kingdom reached its peak under Singhana II and flourished until being annexed by the Delhi Sultanate in the early 14th century. The Yadavas were important patrons of art, literature and music and helped establish Marathi as an official language.
