Conditional sentences are sentences that consist of two parts: a condition (if-clause) and a result (main clause). There are four types of conditional sentences: Type 0 expresses general facts. Type 1 expresses future possible conditions. Type 2 expresses present unreal conditions. Type 3 expresses past unreal conditions. Each type uses different verb tenses and structures to convey the condition and result.
