Can I read On the Application of Current Algebra to Weak Interactions on EtoBox?

On the Application of Current Algebra to Weak Interactions by M Nakagawa; N.N Trofimenkoff is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.

What is On the Application of Current Algebra to Weak Interactions about?

The current algebra-partially conserved axial-vector current (CA-PCAC) method is reformulated on the basis of taking a limit ka --f 0 (not k -+ 0) on the whole amplitude. A prescription for detecting and canceling out noncovariant portions of the amplitude which come from Goto-Imamura-Schwinger terms arising from the equal-time commutator is given. This cancelation is illustrated by a calculation of the 71 + PLY decay amplitude. The method is applied to nonleptonic hyperon decays and it is shown that, as far as the equal-time commutator and baryon pole terms are concerned, it yields the same resuIts as the usual CA-PCAC method based on the limit k -+ 0.
