Although the author protests against an 'intellectualist distortion of faith' (p. 245), the question is to what extent he escapes from this captivating image himself. Disagreement is typically a concept which has propositionalist connotations. I would have appreciated a preliminary investigation about why Andrejč thinks 'disagreement' is an appropriate term to characterize an 'interreligious meeting'. Disagreement suggests a difference in opinion thereby framing religion in a particular way. What's more, the author says himself that religious disagreements are 'unresolvable' (p. 3). Just a quick look in a thesaurus reveals many alternatives: conflict, row, feud, dissent, and discord. No empirical procedure, no rational arguments brings them to an end (and what would such an 'end' be?). But, if religious disagreements are in principle unresolvable, isn't that a good reason to think that they aren't 'disagreements' at all, but deep-seated contrarieties or incompatibilities.
