Circuit-switched fallback (CSFB) is an alternative to IMS and SRVCC for providing voice services to LTE users. With CSFB, LTE terminals register in the circuit-switched domain and temporarily switch between LTE and 2G/3G networks for circuit-switched voice calls in order to leverage existing 2G/3G voice networks and infrastructure.
