This study investigated the effects of addiction to computer games on the physical and mental health of 564 male and female secondary school students in Isfahan, Iran. The study found significant positive correlations between computer game addiction and poorer physical health, anxiety, and sleep issues. It also found a significant negative relationship between game addiction and social functioning.
