What is Salieri about?

Saliari, a composer, realizes that God has chosen Mozart as his "sole conduct" and instrument, filling Salieri with jealousy and anger towards both Mozart and God. He rages against God, declaring them enemies. Exhausted, Salieri stops to use the bathroom before continuing his tale, revealing that in his war with God through Mozart, the creature (Mozart) had to be destroyed.
