What is The Cunning Hare about?

The little hare catches many fish in his net but has no fire to cook them. He decides to steal fire from some people across the wide river. He uses magic words to summon whales to form a pathway across the river. However, once across, a child grabs him and the hare escapes by wishing himself back across the river while holding onto a burning piece of his net, bringing fire back to his grandmother.
