The Seattle Department of Transportation will be removing vegetation from the staircase on SW Holden St between Delridge Way SW and 20th Ave SW from April 7-11. Goats will be used to eat the vegetation since they are better suited to steep slopes. The area will be fenced off and the staircase closed during work hours, with a pedestrian detour to the south. The vegetation removal will improve visibility but there will be no parking or sidewalk impacts.
