This study examined the relationship between burnout, organizational commitment, and interpersonal relationships among nurses at a small hospital. It differentiated between pleasant and unpleasant contact with supervisors and coworkers. Results found that burnout was related to diminished organizational commitment and was influenced by interpersonal relationships at work.
