About this document

Assessment Center Validity Meta-Analysis by Yen Caicedo is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This meta-analysis examines the validity of assessment centers for predicting supervisory performance ratings, updating an earlier 1987 meta-analysis. It analyzes 26 studies from 1985-2005 with 27 validity coefficients and a total sample size of 5850. The analysis finds a corrected correlation of .28 between overall assessment ratings from assessment centers and later supervisory performance ratings, providing evidence that assessment centers remain valid for predicting job performance.
