Cyclophosphamide/dendritic-cell-vaccines/methylprednisolone Diffuse alveolar haemorrhage: case report A 35-year-old man developed diffuse alveolar haemorrhage following treatment with cyclophosphamide and unspecified dendritic-cell-vaccine for non-seminomatous germ cell testicular cancer. Additionally, he exhibited lack of efficacy to methylprednisolone in treatment of diffuse alveolar haemorrhage [not all routes, dosages and durations of treatments to reaction onset stated]. The man, who had a history of platinum refractory stage IIIc non-seminomatous germ cell testicular cancer status post orchiectomy and autologous stem cell transplant, was admitted for shortness of breath and small volume haemoptysis. He had recently received cyclophosphamide, capecitabine, dexamethasone and unspecified dendritic-cell-vaccines, with his third dose of dendritic cell vaccination four days prior to symptom onset. CT angiography showed multiple small new pulmonary nodules bilaterally and several liver masses concerning for progression of his malignancy. Several days later, he was acutely decompensated with worsening hypoxia, tachypnoea and respiratory distress. Repeat chest CT scan showed worsening
