What is MATLAB Electricity Load Forecasting about?

This document demonstrates building short-term electricity load and price forecasting models in MATLAB. Two non-linear regression models (neural networks and bagged regression trees) are trained on hourly NEPOOL region data from 2004-2007 and tested on 2008 data. The models produce highly accurate day-ahead forecasts with average errors of 1-2%. The demo includes reports and an Excel interface to call the trained models through a MATLAB-deployed DLL.
