This study investigates the relationship between thyroid function tests and heart rate in newly diagnosed hypothyroid females before and after L-thyroxine treatment. Results indicate that hypothyroid patients exhibit autonomic imbalance with increased sympathetic activity, which normalizes after treatment, along with significant reductions in serum TSH levels.
