About this document

Mesozoic Era: Dinosaurs and Extinctions by Bing Sepe Culajao is a document available to read on EtoBox.

During the Mesozoic Era, from about 252 to 66 million years ago, life diversified rapidly as dinosaurs and other giant reptiles came to dominate land and sea. The era is divided into three periods: the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous. Major extinctions occurred at the beginning and end of the Mesozoic, wiping out most life on Earth. Volcanic eruptions and asteroid impacts are suspected to have caused these extinctions through climate change and other environmental disruptions.
