Polymer (nano)composites have been the subject of intensive research in the last three decades, focusing on the design, fabrication, and characterization of new nanostructured materials. Since polymer (nano)composites are considered future materials, their thermal stability under various environmental conditions and thermo-oxidative degradation during processing are essential fields of research. This chapter includes a discussion on the thermal and thermo-oxidative degradation of a polymer matrix reinforced with different types of (nano)fillers, for example, glass and carbon fibers, layered silicates, carbon nanotubes, graphene, silver, and gold. New approaches in the stabilization of polymer (nano)composites with synergistic actions between (nano)fillers and stabilizers are also presented.
