What is The Roger Perry Memorial Fund about?
Professor Roger Perry, past-President of 'The International Society of the Built Environment' died suddenly, after a short illness, on the 1st October 1995. To perpetuate his memory a number of Roger's friends have since gen erously donated money to a Memorial Fund. This fund is now officially regis tered as a charity in the UK and so income generated by the fund will be free of income tax. Roger was always interested in education and in giving opportunities to young scientists to help them with their career. Consequently, one of the objec tives of the fund will be to provide bursaries to enable young scientists to participate in ISBE conferences.
