This study evaluated hand hygiene compliance among healthcare workers during trauma resuscitations at a level 1 trauma center using video surveillance. The study observed 1034 hand hygiene opportunities according to WHO guidelines during the resuscitation of 30 trauma patients. Overall hand hygiene compliance was only 7%.
