About this document

Fish Oil Impact on Lung Growth in Preterm Infants by jeyaprakash jayaraman is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study evaluates the impact of intravenous fish oil (FO) on lung growth in preterm infants receiving parenteral nutrition. The results indicate that FO did not improve lung growth, as measured by the SpO2 to FiO2 ratio, compared to conventional lipid emulsions. Additionally, while weight gain was slightly higher in the FO group, there were no significant differences in the incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia or other complications between the two groups.
