The Redskins rallied from a 12-point second half deficit to defeat Maize 61-55 and advance to the Class 5A state tournament. Trailing 43-31 midway through the third quarter, the Redskins went on an 8-0 run to cut the lead to 4. They eventually tied the game at 47 with 5 minutes left and took their first lead since early in the game on a basket by Green. The Redskins held on down the stretch, making late free throws and baskets to secure the victory and berth to the state tournament.
