Ella Ford had been involved in a road accident in which a young woman and her son died. One year later Ella, an Estate Agent in the property business she and her husband Andrew run, is still suffering from flashbacks to the accident scene. She is being treated for PostTraumatic Stress Disorder but her condition shows no improvement. Andrew, frustrated by Ellas depression, embarks on an affair with model Maxine Doran. As Ella passes the first anniversary of her accident, she begins to realise that her flashbacks all focus on the woman, Karen Trevor, who died at the scene. When Ella is asked to handle the sale of Manor House, the Georgian home where Karen grew up, she sees this as an opportunity to overcome her growing obsession with Karen Trevor. Ellas condition begins to improve when she attends specialist Dr. Peter Sheehan.
