What is Bourdon Pressure Gauge Overview about?

The Bourdon pressure gauge uses a flattened metal tube that tends to straighten when pressurized, causing motion that is amplified through a system of gears to move an indicator needle. Eugene Bourdon patented the design in 1849. It provides sensitive, linear pressure readings and became widely used. The gauge connects a Bourdon tube to the pressure source, and tube motion is converted by gears into needle rotation across a calibrated face to display the pressure level.
