Can I read A new carboxylic acid with branched ponytails for the solubilization of Mn(II) and Co(II) ions in perfluorocarbons on EtoBox?
A new carboxylic acid with branched ponytails for the solubilization of Mn(II) and Co(II) ions in perfluorocarbons by Julien Loiseau; Eric Fouquet; Richard H. Fish; Jean-Marc Vincent; Jean-Baptiste Verlhac is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.
What is A new carboxylic acid with branched ponytails for the solubilization of Mn(II) and Co(II) ions in perfluorocarbons about?
The synthesis of a carboxylic acid (C 8 F 17 (CH 2 ) 3 ) 2 CHCOOH 3 bearing two long branched per ̄uoroalkyl-alkyl chains is described. This acid is highly soluble in per ̄uorocarbons and is a useful ligand for the preparation of transition metal complexes that are soluble in ̄uorinated media. This is illustrated by the preparation of the manganese(II)-and cobalt(II)-carboxylate complexes, both of which are soluble in per ̄uorocarbons and are thus potentially interesting starting materials for metal-catalyzed reactions under ̄uorous biphasic procedures.
Who reads A new carboxylic acid with branched ponytails for the solubilization of Mn(II) and Co(II) ions in perfluorocarbons?
It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Chemistry.
