This document summarizes a study that investigated the ability to identify individual automobile drivers based on sensor data collected from vehicles. The researchers collected sensor data from 16 sensors in a vehicle as 15 participants drove the vehicle through a closed test course and along a 50 mile road route. They then used machine learning classifiers to analyze snippets of the sensor data and were able to identify the drivers with 100% accuracy when using data from 90% of each person
