What is NSAIDs for Surgically Induced Scleritis about?

A 64-year-old man developed surgically induced necrotizing scleritis (SINS) in his left eye. He was treated with oral nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). After 22 days of treatment, the necrotic tissue was reduced, though scleromalacia persisted. After one month, necrotic tissue was further reduced and minimal after two months, with scleromalacia still present but no necrotic tissue visible. NSAIDs showed beneficial effects for SINS in this case.
