William H. Redfield was a Civil War soldier, attorney, judge, and county commissioner in Todd County, Minnesota in the late 1800s. He was born in New York in 1821 and married Lavinia F. Williams in 1845, moving with her to Mukwonago, Wisconsin. During the Civil War, Redfield served in the 8th Wisconsin Infantry Regiment from 1861-1864.
