Three test sockets were submitted for analysis to determine the effectiveness of different brush types used in cleaning. Scanning electron microscope images were taken of the contactor pins before and after cleaning. The images showed the condition of the pins cleaned with an eraser brush, nylon brush, and nanotech brush. The analysis was completed on October 21, 2010 and the report was reviewed the same day.
