About this document

Forensic Dactylography Overview by niraj_sd is a document available to read on EtoBox.

Fingerprints form between 12-16 weeks in utero and are complete by 24 weeks. They are classified into four types: loops, whorls, arches, and composites. Poroscopy examines microscopic pores in fingerprint ridges, with each millimeter containing 9-18 pores, to identify individuals. Fingerprints are not destroyed unless the true skin is completely destroyed, though burns and wounds can add characteristics. Fingerprint analysis is used for criminal identification and identifying decomposed remains or exchanged
