This study evaluated the environmental impacts and economic costs of producing geopolymer concrete using Egyptian kaolin clay compared to conventional cement concrete. The kaolin clay was activated using a mixture of sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate to produce geopolymer concrete. Testing showed the geopolymer concrete achieved high compressive strength over 50 MPa and better corrosion resistance than cement concrete. A life cycle assessment found the geopolymer concrete reduced global warming potential
