This document presents a project report on determining power flow in a 5 bus system. It was completed by three students - Mayukh Mukherjee, Somsurya Sengupta, and Sohom Ojha under the supervision of Dipankar Santra. The report describes load flow analysis methods including the Gauss-Seidel and Newton-Raphson methods. It implements these methods in MATLAB programs and compares their performance on a 5 bus test system. The results obtained are verified against a commercial software for load flow analysis.
