If you want a totally jaundiced view of the Eastern Front from a shamefully and deceitful Communist point of view, this is the book for you. Most of the Soviet photos are staged and doctored, as with all their so-called faked film footage that doco makers and fraudsters use eternally in books and on TV. The photos of the masses of dead German soldiers are real enough. Just the captions are wrong. They fail to state the obvious, they are the slaughtered German prisoners machine-gunned after the end of any battle. Even after the war ended teams of Russian killers roamed all over the captured eastern lands murdering tens of thousands of wounded German soldiers lying helpless in their beds in hospitals in Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest and a host of other cities and towns.
