The study investigates an innovative thermal insulation technique using seashells and coconut shells to reduce heat transfer through building roofs, aiming to lower energy consumption for air conditioning. Experimental results showed a significant reduction in roof bottom surface temperature and an electricity savings potential of approximately 39.7% compared to conventional concrete roofs. This eco-friendly approach offers a cost-effective solution for improving building comfort and energy efficiency.
