Temperature and Strain Rate Effects on DRX in Steel by Leonardo Monteiro is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study examined the effect of temperature and strain rate on dynamic re-crystallization (DRX) in a 0.05C-1.52Cu-1.51Mn steel. Hot compression tests were conducted at temperatures of 800-1000°C and strain rates of 0.01-1 s-1. The results showed that lower strain rates and higher temperatures favored typical DRX behavior. Specifically, DRX occurred more readily at 0.01 s-1 compared to higher strain rates. Additionally, increasing the temperature increased the likelihood of DRX. Transmission electron micro
