What is The Snake and the Mirror Overview about?

Vaikom Muhammad Basheer was an Indian writer from Kerala who wrote in Malayalam. This story is about a time when Basheer saw a snake in his house near his arm. The snake turned and looked at its reflection in a mirror, which surprised Basheer. It then moved from his arm to his lap and onto a table before exiting the room. Later, Basheer realized that there was no actual snake and it was a hallucination, laughing that no snake would be attracted to its own reflection.
