Can I read X-ray and Raman spectroscopy studies of NdBa2Cu3O6.67 with pressure-induced superconductivity on EtoBox?

X-ray and Raman spectroscopy studies of NdBa2Cu3O6.67 with pressure-induced superconductivity by R. Puzniak; I.M. Fita; W. Paszkowicz; J. Strzeszewski; A. Wisniewski is a Physics and Astronomy article available to read on EtoBox.

What is X-ray and Raman spectroscopy studies of NdBa2Cu3O6.67 with pressure-induced superconductivity about?

The underdoped NdBa2Cu306.67 ceramic, with superconductivity induced in a slow oxygen-ordering process under pressure, was investigated. The room-temperature time evolution of lattice parameters after 1.3 GPa pressure release was determined by X-ray diffraction. The anisotropic expansion of the unit cell during oxygen disordering, with largest change along the a-axis (by 0.4%) and reduction in the orthorhombic strain by 50%, was found. The softening of the apical oxygen vibration mode, observed by Raman scattering in the same process, confirms the transfer of electronic charge to the CuO2 planes.
