This thesis examines the structural architecture and geological framework of the Buriticá gold deposit in Colombia. The deposit is hosted within a Miocene-aged intrusive complex located in the Middle Cauca belt. The deposit formed as a fault-controlled hydrothermal system along long-lived penetrative faults that provided pathways for fluid flow and multiple stages of vein formation.
