This study investigated the association between blood lead levels, nutritional status, and risk factors for hypertension and diabetes in 54 female traffic police officers in Yogyakarta, Indonesia who are routinely exposed to lead. The study found that blood lead levels were positively correlated with both systolic and diastolic blood pressure but not with BMI, body fat percentage, or blood glucose levels.
