This study investigates the prognostic utility of a multi-marker panel of blood biomarkers in patients with moderate-to-severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). The findings indicate that elevated levels of specific biomarkers, such as s100B, GFAP, and MCP-1, are associated with unfavorable neurological outcomes and mortality. Although the multi-marker approach performed well in distinguishing outcomes, it did not significantly outperform the predictive capability of s100B alone.
