This article examines the values of tolerance based on the Quran as an effort to counter religious radicalism in contemporary Indonesian Islam. Through qualitative research using a literature approach, the findings show that the construction of tolerance based on the Quran is realized in three forms: there is no compulsion in religion; tolerance occupies an important position for unity and national integrity; and it impacts the realization of tolerant knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors among communities.
