Can I read Determination of Total Sulphur in Coal by X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry on EtoBox?

Determination of Total Sulphur in Coal by X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry by Weber; J.H.H.G. van Willigen; W.E. van der Linden is a Chemistry article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Determination of Total Sulphur in Coal by X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry about?

An accurate and precise x-ray fluorescence method for the determination of sulphur in coal is described. The sample is mixed with calcium oxide and active carbon and is gradually heated to 900°C. After cooling, lithium tetraborate and lead oxide are added and a borax bead is prepared. The Pb Ma line is used as an internal standard for the S KLy line. The results for coal have a relative standard deviation of approximately 1% and exhibit no bias.
