This study evaluates the clinical profile and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) findings in 80 patients with Acid Peptic Disease (APD) at a tertiary health care center. The most common symptoms were epigastric pain (84%) and retrosternal burning (51%), with significant associations found between smoking, alcohol consumption, and the severity of APD. EGD revealed gastritis in 22% of patients, with a prevalence of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) at 21% and peptic ulcers at 7.5%.
