About this document
Recycled Plastic Fibers in Concrete Beams by Hammad Salahuddin is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the use of recycled plastic fibers in concrete beams reinforced with basalt fiber-reinforced polymer (BFRP) bars to enhance shear strength and construction efficiency. Experimental results showed that while most recycled fibers did not significantly improve shear strength, the BFRP-reinforced beam with 20 mm short water bottle fibers exhibited a 13.97% increase in shear strength. The findings were validated through finite element analysis, demonstrating strong consistency between exp
